When I was younger, I was frequen...This is so true! When I was younger, I was frequently make jokes - often at my own expense to ensure that people didn't get in there first. Now I'm older and wiser and much more confident in myself, I simply surround myself by good people who I love. And if someone did ever dare say anything "funny" to insult me? I'd probably Of ofeel sorry for them and how pathetic their lives must be that they take happiness from such a bitter place. Of course I still like to be funny, but it's come from a different part of my psyche. It's no longer a defence mech - I just like to make others feel good.
