Shop Your Stash

New blog challenge!! Organised by the beautiful Hollie from PrettyBigButterflies

Welcome to the Shop Your Stash Challenge. This is all about finding a gem in what you already own and creating a blog post on it. This is to let go a little of the stress that comes with being a blogger - even if it is just once a month. Rummage through your beauty products and climb through those clothes draws. You might surprise yourself!

For my first blog for this blog challenge I decided to tackle the one thing that I think that every women has: the forgotten products box.  You know the one.  You are wandering around in Boots or Superdrug and you find a bargain, or a cheap offer on something you use; or even just something you look at and decide that it will change your whole makeup routine.  You bring it home and you put it into "the box" until you need it.

Then you promptly forget it ever existed.

This is my box.  An old disused Sanctuary box which is apparently operating Tardis technology given the amount of stuff I found it in.  There are at least £50.00 plus worth of products in there that I had completely forgotten about.

John Frieda Frizz Serum - £6.99 approx - never used
Gel Heel Liners - these had DUST on them - no idea where they came from
SPA Body lotion - present???
Collagen Eye Filler - obviously bought in an "I'M GETTING OLD!!!" moment.  At least £10.00

Bastiste Dry Shampoo - I do actually pull this out of the box to use, £4.99
John Frieda Shampoo & Conditional £10.00 - completely forgotten I bought in the sale,
about five months ago

Full Repair Hair Product - never used - £8.00
John Frieda Volume Spray (no idea what I was thinking, have you SEEN my hair?) £7.00
Body Lotion - never used
Body scrub - it could 100 years old for all I know

Where is hairspray when you need it?  In the forgotten box of course!!  £5.99

Do you have a forgotten product box?

  4. I don't have a forgotten products box, but I have so many products on my dressing table that I've not yet used. Some of them were presents, or magazine freebies. I got quite a few bits for Christmas and have quite a few Body Shop products I bought cheap on outlet still to get through. This blog challenge is a really good idea! xx
