Weekend Wear

I don’t think we can kid ourselves any longer, the nights are now drawing in, the days are getting colder by the second; Winter is on the approach.

I looked in my wardrobe today and had a mini panic. I realised that 99% of my wardrobe is now dresses. Great you say, dresses are fabulous! Well yes, they are, but they aren’t always the most practical thing to wear.

I am on the hunt for a weekend type outfit, something that is stylish but sensible and comfortable.  As much as I would love to walk around the park with my bright pink ice cream print dress, in Winter that really isn’t the best way forward.

So I have put together a few items of clothing that I like for Autumn/Winter weekend apparel.  On checking my wardrobe it appears that I need some boots too.  Although I recently bought a pair of long boots, as much as I love them, there is no grip to speak of on the soles so something a little more substantial is needed for the girl who constantly slides over in snow!

Winter Weekend Wear

Asos Coat with PU pockets £85.00
New Look High Waisted Skinny Jeans £22.99
Equestrian Clearance Fleece lined snow boots £25.99
Asos Berry zip detail jumper £40.00
Moser Gloves £145.00

I may have gone a "little" overboard with the gloves there, I am sure that cheaper alternatives can be found, but look at the price of the boots! Bargain if ever I saw one.

What are you wearing these Autumnal weekends?

  1. I have the same problem- my wardrobe is mostly dresses, too! I'd definitely recommend checking out the clothes at Sainsbury's as I keep seeing so many cute jumpers there. I love the boots and jumper you've blogged about here! xx

    1. I always forget about looking at the supermarkets as a source of clothing, I really need to check them out!

  2. Lovely pieces. The jumper is gorgeous, even if I would choose the black one because red isn't my colour. Try to combine dresses with jumper. Saw a few outfits like that and they look gorgeous. Maybe I'll try it by myself. :)
